Approved Fitter Agreement

Last updated 8 June 2026

These are the terms on which dealers and partners join the International Alloys fitter network. By applying to become a Dealer or Partner you agree to them. They set out what we do, the checks you must carry out when fitting, and who is responsible if something goes wrong.

1. What International Alloys does

We do everything reasonable to make sure the products we supply are a successful fit:

  • We match every wheel to the vehicle's published factory fitment data using AIWheelTech.
  • We supply the correct fitting kit for the vehicle's stud pattern, thread, seat and bolt length.
  • We handle stock, take the customer's payment, raise the invoice and provide support.
  • Every sale and fitment outcome is recorded to continuously improve our fitment database — making the matching more accurate for the whole network over time.

2. Checks you must carry out before completing any fitting

Fitment data is a guide, not a guarantee — final fit is confirmed at fitting, by you. Before you complete an installation you must:

  • Confirm the fitting kit is correct — start the fasteners and tighten by hand first to check the thread and seat engage correctly. Never run them straight in with a gun.
  • Trial-fit before committing — fit ONE front and ONE rear wheel first, before installing the full set and before fitting or transferring any tyres.
  • Check brake and caliper clearance.
  • Perform a full lock-to-lock steering check — confirm clearance against arches, suspension, brake lines and calipers throughout the full steering range.
  • Only if clearance and fit are good do you continue to full installation, fit tyres and torque up.

3. If it doesn't fit — stop and tell us

If anything doesn't clear or fit correctly, STOP. Do not force, modify or fit tyres to a wheel that hasn't passed the clearance checks. Raise it with International Alloys before going any further.

Where you have carried out the required checks and raised a genuine fitment issue, we will arrange collection and a full refund or exchange at no cost to you or the customer.

4. Fitting and torque

Fit and torque all fasteners to the manufacturer's specification shown on the order/invoice, and advise the customer to have the torque re-checked after a short drive. Wheels and tyres are a safety-critical component.

5. Responsibility for damage

We are responsible for supplying correctly-matched products and the right fitting kit. The act of fitting, and the final fit, is the responsibility of the fitting party.

Damage to the vehicle, to the wheels or to the tyres that occurs during installation is the responsibility of the fitting party — not International Alloys.

Where you follow the checks in section 2 and raise an issue under section 3, we cover collection, refund or exchange. But where damage or loss arises from negligence — including failing to carry out those checks, fitting tyres before confirming clearance, or forcing an obvious misfit — the fitting party is liable for the resulting costs, including any refund, replacement or repair to the goods or the vehicle.

6. Payment and commission

International Alloys collects the customer's payment. Your commission is calculated per your tier and released once the wheels are fitted and you confirm the job installed. Repeated negligence or failure to follow the fitting checks may result in commission being withheld or your approved status suspended.

7. General

Either party may end this arrangement on reasonable notice. This agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in it affects a consumer's statutory rights.
